Darwin - Content Writer (1-4 yrs)

Roles and Responsibilities :

1. Researching industry related topics or on any given topic (combining online sources, interviews, and studies) in order to develop original content.

2. Preparing well-structured drafts using Content Management Systems.

3. Revise content as per the leadership and business request.

4. Help create style guides or suggest changes to ensure content are consistent and clear.

5. Work with stakeholders to define content needs.

6. Write clear and concise marketing copy to promote our products/services through ads, publications, and websites to inform and engage target audiences.

7. Write clear, compelling copy for various mediums (e.g. ads, blog posts, newsletters).

8. Work with creative professionals to build marketing projects and campaigns

9. Write a clear, attractive copy with a distinct voice.

10. Interpret copywriting briefs to understand project requirements.

11. Collaborate with designers, PR, and other professionals on large and small scale marketing projects (e.g. email campaigns and landing pages).

12. Conduct high-quality research and interviews.

13. Edit and proofread copy as needed.

14. Source images and other content.

15. Excellent overall writing skills in different styles/tones.

16. Develop engaging content for articles, blogs, stories, and social media to entice and engage the audience.

17. Assist the marketing team in developing content for advertising campaigns.

18. Edit and polish existing content to improve readability.

19. Use SEO principles to maximize copy's reach. Conduct keyword research and use SEO best practices to increase traffic to the company website and ensure that content contains sufficient keywords for SEO.

20. Identify organizational needs and recommend new content to address gaps in the current content.

21. High comprehension of software like Microsoft Word and Google Docs.

22. Develop prototypes and storyboards using a multitude of media creation and graphics editing tools.

23. Should have understanding of formatting articles on the web and ensure that web page content is edited properly to increase on-screen readability.

24. Develop ideas derived from online/offline research and organize the same on paper or computer applications.

25. Manage user-generated content on social media sites.

26. Manage the company's social media presence.

27. Working knowledge of content management systems.
