CupShup - Associate - New Business Development (1-4 yrs)

Overview: As an Associate in New Business Development at Cuphup, you will play a crucial role in expanding our client base and driving revenue growth. You will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building relationships with potential clients, and developing innovative strategies to meet their marketing objectives. This role requires a highly motivated individual with excellent communication skills and a strong understanding of the marketing landscape.

Key Responsibilities :

1) Prospecting and Lead Generation : Identify and research potential clients through various channels including industry events, online platforms, and referrals. Generate leads and build a pipeline of opportunities.

2) Client Relationship Management : Establish and nurture relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders at potential client organizations. Understand their business needs, challenges, and objectives to tailor solutions that align with their goals.

3) Proposal Development : Collaborate with internal teams to develop customized proposals and presentations that showcase our agency's capabilities and address the specific needs of prospective clients.

4) Negotiation and Closing : Lead negotiations with prospective clients, addressing any concerns or objections they may have and effectively closing deals to win new business.

5) Market Research : Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities. Use this knowledge to identify opportunities for growth and differentiate our agency in the marketplace.

6) Networking and Brand Building : Represent the agency at industry events, conferences, and networking functions to increase brand visibility and establish our agency as a leader in the marketing space.

7) Collaboration with Internal Teams : Work closely with other departments such as creative, strategy, and account management to ensure seamless execution of new client projects and maintain high levels of client satisfaction.

8) Performance Tracking and Reporting : Monitor and analyze key performance metrics related to new business development efforts. Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on progress against targets and opportunities for improvement.

Qualifications :

1) Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field. MBA preferred.

2) Proven track record of success in sales or business development roles, preferably within the marketing or advertising industry.

3) Strong understanding of BTL marketing techniques and strategies.

4) Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively.

5) Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients at all levels of an organization.

6) Strategic thinker with the ability to identify opportunities for growth and develop innovative solutions.

7) Highly motivated self-starter with a results-driven mindset.

8) Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and CRM software.

9) Willingness to travel as needed.
