- Set up - Bharatiya Vidyapeeth is currently looking to recruit an experienced Marketing Manager to work with the prestigious institute. Bharatiya Vidyapeeth is a deemed University recognized for its academic excellence and is a service driven institute providing quality education in different fields of knowledge.

Job Overview:

- This role seeks an experienced Marketing and Communications Manager to establish a new Marketing and Communications team within the college. The post holder will work closely with the management to provide a high-quality marketing, and communication service to promote more of the brand and promote the same. The marketing manager will be in charge of overseeing the promotion and developing the brand image of the company. It includes responsibilities like working on the brand and marketing strategy, tracking and analysing the performance of advertising campaigns and managing the marketing budget. The marketing manager will also be responsible for putting together estimates and budgets for marketing campaigns, submitting them for approval, working with advertising agencies, being involved in negotiations, preparing sales and advertising contracts, and reviewing advertising material such as print material, tv commercials, and online advertisements.

- To be successful in this role he / she will be expected to have hands-on experience with web analytics tools and be able to turn creative ideas into effective promotion projects.

Roles and responsibilities: 

- Owning and creating promotional information to drive the business

- Develop marketing strategies and tactics to get the word out about the company and drive qualified traffic to the front door

- Develop strategies in such a manner that it would target the right audience

- Deploy successful marketing campaigns and own their implementation from ideation to execution

- Experiment with a variety of organic and paid acquisition channels like content creation, content curation, pay per click campaigns, event management, publicity, social media, lead generation campaigns, copywriting, performance analysis

- Build marketing programs to support specific marketing objectives across different channels and segments

- Build strategic relationships and partners with key industry players, agencies and vendors

- Propose and manage marketing research projects to generate consumer insights in support of improving marketing strategy and communications

- Troubleshooting marketing campaigns that are not performing well

- External Communications and marketing lead on the development of a range of external communications

- Develop and maintain oversight of the implementation of an external communications strategy that clearly defines priority communications channels and target audiences

- Facilitation and support marketing events to promote events via the appropriate external communication channels

- Work closely with the PR and sales teams to bring alignment about all marketing strategies and campaigns

- Organise and prepare all marketing content for social media platforms and for any type of external communication

- Present and update the performance of all marketing campaigns and gather metrics to evaluate the success of the same

- Manage and execute digital marketing projects for campaigns and other sales initiatives.

- Analysing customer feedback from social media platforms

- Analysing advertising returns and reporting to top management

- Cordination/Gathering information form different constituent units of university.

Qualification and competencies:

- Bachelors/Masters in Business Development/Marketing/Mass Media/MBA

- Possess at least 8 to 10 years of marketing experience defining, building, and launching marketing programs and campaigns

- Demonstrable experience of developing and implementing an internal communications strategy

- Excellent communication skills in both written and verbal format

- Expert knowledge in the latest in digital and social media technology and channels and how to best leverage for marketing programs as part of an overall social business strategy.

- In concert with these traits, they need to be highly focused, detail-oriented, and very conscientious of meeting budget restraints and timelines

- Will be required to act decisively in assessing the importance and urgency of new and unexpected demands or emerging issues

- Highly motivated, quick-learner, self-starter

- Should be able to establish marketing goals based on past performance and market forecasts

- Can communicate with various media buyers, advertising agencies, printers, and other services to help marketing projects come to fruition

- Provide in-depth information to interested clients, and acts as a representative for the marketing department in important buyer meetings

- Well versed on the usage and effectiveness of all marketing channels and associated technology with it

- Works within the department budget to develop cost-effective marketing plans for each product or service

- Ability to track all marketing data and create detailed written reports and verbal presentations to bring to senior executives
