Sorted is a mobile application that curates the best options to book a hotel up to 72 hours in advance - for today, tomorrow or day after, across destinations and hotel categories in India. We hand-pick hotels with great last minute deals, and ensure the right stay options for our travelers.

How do we do it :

- We get great prices for our users from hotel partners that list their unsold rooms on our app. So, when travelers book with us, we sort through the clutter of irrelevant and confusing hotel listings and, get them an assured good deal.

- We are looking for Senior Manager- Business Development for Sorted, who will take strategic decisions and drive the business growth, operations and P&L.

Duties and responsibilities :

- Negotiating & contracting with hotels & suppliers with regards to last minute deals.

- Run Flagship Portfolio like a full-fledged business and handle P&L for Sorted.

- Drive profitability through streamlined operations, boosting demand through local channels, ancillary sources of revenue and seamless guest experience.

- Identify key markets and the types of hotel products that would complement our current product offerings and revenue growth.

Drive business growth :

- Ability to take and drive decisions across online demand, and supply.

- Data driven decision making, good with setting up MIS/review processes, ability to use analytics.

People Management :

- Leadership, problem solving ability.

- Manage and lead a team and ensure that team revenue target is met.

- Recruit, lead and manage a pan India team.

- Ability to network with hotel owners, corporates and open structured channels of demand

- Fair understanding and skills to open unstructured demand channels

- Strong Negotiation and deal closing abilities.

Desired Skills and Experience :

- 6 to 8 years of core Business development/sales experience in travel/ hospitality/ service industry.

- Strong business acumen, analytical skills, data-driven and P&L focused decision making.

- Experience in developing and leading high performance teams.
