Copywriter/Content Writer - eCommerce (1-3 yrs)

Location: Bangalore (currently WFH / remote)

About the Role : 

- The role requires strong communication, creative and content skills spread across social media, advertising, websites, mailers, branding and more.

- You will work directly with senior leadership in crafting high-converting and engaging communications for e-commerce brands. The role offers a fast-track to rapid growth within the organization. It requires a creative mindset with the ability to take ownership for outcomes and deliver on them.

Responsibilities:

- Be the brand's voice to the consumer

- Writing high-converting short-form copies (ad and creative copy) that get consumers hooked across various formats and platforms - search ads, FB / Insta ads, social media posts, mailers, sms and more.

- Writing compelling product & brand content across all consumer facing touchpoints - websites, marketplaces like Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, Nykaa, etc., product catalogues, infographics, brand collateral, and more.

- Understanding product attributes, consumer demand and sentiment, and the brand positioning to come up with insightful product-specific positioning and messaging ideas, and compelling product stories.

- Ideating on fresh, exciting & attention-grabbing content ideas to be deployed across platforms

- Taking ownership of planning and executing the content pipeline to achieve content marketing, advertising & brand marketing goals

Qualifications & Minimum Requirements:

- Minimum 1 year of full-time experience (2+ years preferred)

- Prior experience working at a creative or content agency OR for an e-commerce / D2C brand is a must

- Excellent written and spoken English skills - impeccable grammar, good vocabulary and the ability to be precise and concise

- A passion and flair for digital storytelling with precision and brevity that grabs consumers' attention

- Prior experience with advertising, branding or social media marketing is preferred

- A deep understanding of digital and social communications for e-commerce, and a good understanding of consumer psychology
