Job Description :

Content Specialist - Copywriter

We are looking for a highly talented and ambitious copywriter/ content specialist who wants to make a difference in executing comprehensive print and digital communication solutions for our clients and our company. You will be responsible for the full life-cycle of a piece of content from strategy/conception, to publishing, to content syndication utilising internal and external digital platforms (websites, videos, slideshows, podcasts, apps, webcasts, webinars, web portals), social media outlets as well as traditional print brand collateral material (case studies, press releases, website pages, e-newsletters, advertising, direct mail and email blasts, brochures, white papers, articles, presentations and marketing material. Additional duties include participation in marketing campaign planning and brainstorming, including strategy, promotional ideas, pitching to clients as well as account and project management.

Responsibilities :

- Develop content for client campaigns specifically related to target demographics and maintains consistency of messaging (need to entertain, educate and inform the public concerning out client's products or services)

- Quality Control - proofread content for edits for consistency in style, tone and quality

- Trafficking content for updates

- Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure seamless process and flawless executions of content

- Adheres to all client standards and guidelines (both business and technical) with a high level of flexibility and professionalism

- Manage time sheets and project hours reporting for billing purposes

- Attend and participate in client meetings to pitch campaigns or present results as needed

Requirements :

- Required degree in journalism, advertising, communications

- 4 + years experience focused on print and digital content creation and dissemination

- Basic b2b technology and creative style writing

- Strong writing comprehension, internet literacy and blog production

- Ability to adapt quickly to new procedures and processes

- Ability to quickly pivot and assume different writing styles and voices according to defined client needs

- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects with meticulous attention to detail

- Ability to balance a sense of urgency with a calm and confident demeanour in pressured situations

- Excellent organisational and time management skills

- Able to contribute creatively and analytically

- Proven ability to engage an online audience both personally and on behalf of a B2B or B2C brands

- An appreciation for the relationship between the text and the visual elements

- Strong Interpersonal skills to interact with staff, clients and vendors

Skills :

- Proficient with Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

- Proficient with Google Docs and similar cloud-based services

- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite products (Photoshop and Indesign) a plus

- Proficient with the WordPress content management system and Hootsuite Scheduling System

- Proficient in using the following social media platforms: Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin, YouTube, Printerest, InstaGram, Forums, Blogs, etc
