A rapidly growing offshore software development company is looking for a bright, sharp and knowledgeable individual to drive execution of their business development strategy. The company is in aggressive expansion mode and looking to capitalize on the international growth.

The Business Development Executive will be a key member of a global business development team working closely with customers and stakeholders. This position is based in Ahmedabad, India. This includes identifying prospects, generating leads, gathering high level business requirements, call logging and meticulous follow-ups.

Responsibilities :

- Ability to research on prospects on internet and synthesize relevant information to be used during phone conversations

- Fundamental understanding of professional social media (facebook, twitter, linkedin, craigslist etc.) and ability to perform lead generation activities (tweets, blogs, other content creation techniques)

- Experience in online bidding using various bidding sites like Upwork, Guru, etc. including but not limited to identifying opportunities, creating proposals and follow-up to close the deal

- Deep understanding of calling practice to perform efficient calling of various prospects and record detailed call logs

- Ability to persuade prospects to create demand pull for company's services

- Ability to meticulously follow-up with prospects based on call outcomes

- Help improve quality of call list

- Email blast follow-ups and develop marketing and sales toolkits

- Ability to work well in a team and develop and structure information in a situation where lot of time ambiguity and no solid answers exists

- Possess the ability to work with other business development team and stakeholders

- Must have good knowledge of SDLC, business development best practices, strong analytical and communication skills

- Ability to work in US east coast time zone for few hours

- Must have the ability to multi task and manage multiple activities

Skill Required:

- Must have 2+ years of international business development experience for software development services companies

- In-depth knowledge of sales and marketing processes in Software development industry including traditional (tele calling, Upwork/Guru, e-mail etc.) and social media (LinkedIn, Twitter etc.)

- Clear understanding of technology and various SDLC processes in software development industry

- Excellent oral presentation, persuasion and documentation skills like creating proposals, estimation, resource planning etc.

- Strong in data analysis with usage of Microsoft Excel and other tools

- Must have great oral and written communication skills
