Content Developer - Social Science

- The Assessments team is involved in creating discerning question banks. The team also works on regular development of engaging and insightful assessment tools that test the level of content understanding and competence in the subject skills of k-12 children.

Your Role :

- You will be working on assessments that will enhance the user experience through conversational design. In this role, you will be working with the content team in reviewing/ proofreading/ editing and enhancing assessments for our k-12 product. A major part of your day will go into understanding the learning objectives, discussing them with SMEs, and creating different types of questions.

- You are a passionate individual who would love to go deeper into how children learn subjects and build high-quality assessment tools that can uncover gaps in students' learning.

Tasks & Responsibilities :

1. Assessment Development :

- Design and create a wide range of assessments for social science subjects, including exams, quizzes, tests, and assignments.

- Develop assessment items that are aligned with curriculum standards, learning objectives, and educational best practices.

- Create clear and comprehensive assessment guidelines, rubrics, and answer keys.

2. Content Expertise :

- Demonstrate a strong understanding of social science concepts and curriculum requirements for grade levels 6 to 12.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in social science education and assessment methodologies.

3. Collaboration :

- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including educators, instructional designers, and content developers to ensure assessment quality and effectiveness.

Education & Competencies :

- A bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as education, social science, or a related discipline. A master's degree is a plus.

- Previous experience in educational assessment development, particularly in social science subjects.

- Strong knowledge of educational standards and curriculum requirements for grade levels 6 to 12.

- Familiarity with assessment technology and digital platforms is an advantage.

- Good command over the Hindi medium curriculum of their subject

- Preferred: People who have B.ed or experience in school teaching

Compensation :

- A competitive Indian salary and benefits package will be provided commensurate to education and experience.

Location :

- Preferably, Noida/Gurugram. However, depending on your qualifications and experience, we are open to suitable candidates who can work from any location.
