Contrado - Manager - Search Engine Optimization (8-12 yrs)

Responsibilities

- 1st person of contact in all SEO matters

- Identify and execute growth activities rapidly

- Develop weekly reporting for Senior Management and MD to show progress

- Managing team - hiring/appraisals/nurture/performance & KPIs for a team of SEO analysts and technical SEO.

- Lead the team with SEO expertise, ideas, innovation and problem solving whilst balancing workload efficiently to consistently deliver against business expectations

- Devise on roadmaps and support execution of SEO projects like keyword analyses, technical audits, backlink analyses, competitor reviews, content audits and gap analyses.

- Keyword, website monitoring, user & market analysis

- Adhoc & monthly reports and dealing with all SEO enquiries from stakeholders

- Regularly review existing sites/content/product pages for improvement

- Providing top level insights on current performance and areas to grow in the future

- Identify new opportunities for growth and provide sound forecasting and commercial rationale to support your recommendations

- Keeping up to date with search news, monitoring traffic accordingly and provide your viewpoint of changes

Essential Skills : 


Abilities :

- 8+ years- experience in SEO in e-commerce sector - FMCG and some B2B.

- Experience in localised sites for the UK, US and EU markets.

- A thorough understanding of both on- and off-page SEO and a desire and ability to learn and absorb new skills

- Familiar with common industry tools: GA, GSC, SEMRush, Moz etc

- Logical and analytical thinking

- Excellent English (written and spoken) & communication skills

- Proactive, driven, analytical, commercially focused individual

- Excellent leadership skills and commercial awareness

Personal Skills :

- Highly motivated and hard working with strong attention to detail

- Extensive experience of managing and training other team members

- Great written, presentation and communication skills

- Good leadership skills - know how to get the best out of people

- Ability working both independently and as part of a team

- Take initiatives - never say - that's not my job-

- Great organisational and analytical skills

- Ability to meet deadlines with calmness, flexibility, and efficiency
