Designation : Content Writer for NEWS & Politics Beat (English)

Job Location : Noida

Work Experience : 2 - 5 years

Shift Timings/Transport : 5 days working Schedule

06:00am-03:00pm Pick up from Home Drop till Sector 18, Noida.

10:00am-07:00pm Pick up from Sector 18, Noida Drop till Sector 18, Noida.

03:00pm-12:00am Pick up from Sector 18, Noida Drop till home.

Please note Home transport services depends on the location of the candidate (distance from office)

Skills required:

- Excellent writing skills in English (Its a must)

- Print background will be preferred

- Sound understanding of national and international affairs & Indian politics

- Ability to write and edit news articles besides coining appropriate and catchy headers

- Must be Internet savvy with fair understanding of online content generation

- Should be comfortable with online tools with a personal online presence on social media channels

- Ability to work on Adobe Photoshop or equivalent Photo editing software

- Should be comfortable in Hindi to English translation and vice versa.

- Should Understand the basics of SEO

- Mentoring Junior members in the team

Educational Qualification:

Bachelor/Masters degree in mass communication / English medium

Diploma in computer application (Preferable)

KRA:

- Should be well conversant with English Typing

- Selecting relevant and appropriate news articles from wires (PTI, AP etc.), editing and assigning them catchy headers.

- Developing stories aired by India TV in English and posting them in appropriate news format.

- Develop opinion/Analysis based or journalistic content and Stories independent of wire services

Professional traits:

- Must be Willing to work in any shift (Morning, General, Evening)

- Should be a team player

- Ability to come up with innovative and out-of-box ideas.
