We are looking for a Technical Writer who has an experience working and writing in the IT services space. This role is with an IT startup client of ours in Bangalore with a permanent remote job option.

Responsibilities :

- Work with the marketing team and produce well-researched tech content

- Ability to quickly learn and understand complex topics

- Is comfortable with writing long form SEO friendly content (3000 - 5000 words)

- Have a good understanding of Topic Clusters/Pillar pages

- Obtain a deep understanding of products and services to translate complex product information into simple, polished, and engaging content

- Create a content calendar with an organised deadline trajectory

- Utilize industry best practices and familiarity with our mission to inspire and showcase thought leadership

- Develop content for blogs, articles, product descriptions, social media, and the company website

- Edit and polish existing content to improve readability

- Conduct keyword research and using SEO best practices to increase traffic to the company website

- Work with development and support leads to identify all documentation repositories, revise and edit, and determine the best solution for data compilation and centralized storage

- Research, create, and maintain information architecture templates that uphold organizational and legal standards, and allow for easy data migration

- Develop content in alternative media forms for maximum usability, with a consistent and cohesive voice across all documentation

About You :

- Proven record of excellent writing demonstrated in a professional portfolio

- Impeccable grasp of the English language, including idioms and current trends in slang and expressions

- 3-6 years industry experience as an effective technical writer

- Proven ability to quickly learn and understand complex topics

- Previous experience writing documentation and procedural materials for multiple audiences

- Experience working with engineering to improve user experience: design, UI, and help refine content and create visuals and diagrams for technical support content

- Ability to work independently with little or no daily supervision

- Strong interpersonal skills and willingness to communicate with clients, colleagues, and management

- Ability to work on multiple projects with different objectives simultaneously

- Good time management skills, including prioritizing, scheduling, and adapting as necessary

- Contribute to the development of content & communication strategies that increases reader engagement

- Keep up to date with the latest media and industry trends

- Keep your mind open to what we can do more than we- re already doing and keep experimenting toward an active rollout process

- Have a clear, distinct voice that can be showcased in a creative way and have fun while at it
