Content Writer - IT (6-10 yrs)

Roles & Responsibilities

- Perform ad hoc research to develop and produce new web based and print content

- Prepare internal / external communications including announcements, press releases, quarterly corporate reports, presentations, sales support, marketing collaterals, etc. as required

- Coordinate content creation & publishing of company newsletters (internal or external)

- Add to creative and strategic ideas for online marketing initiatives

- Develop content to demonstrate organization's impact on industry

- Draft and edit assigned editorials, talking points and press releases

- Create and post timely content on organization's website

- Develop content for organization's social media website pages

- Helps plan and implement social marketing campaigns for specific marketing goals

- Utilize industry and organizational knowledge to develop ideas and content

- Maintain clips process and determine efficiency and effectiveness methods

- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to create content and style guidelines

- Develop compelling content for various languages, markets, platforms and learners

- Utilize graphics editing and media creation programs to develop prototypes and storyboards

- Proof reading, editing and writing content on a regular basis

- Keeps up-to-date with best practices in writing for the web, social media trends, web usability, web design, and business/industry trends

Requirements

- Graduate with a good command over the English language

- Bachelor's Degree in English, Journalism, or Communication

- 6 years- experience in content writing, editing, proof-reading

- Superior command of the English language including rules and usage

- Strong analytical, planning, organizational, and time management skills

- Flair for writing with an understanding of what works on the internet

- Ability to work in a team with- good communication and presentation skills

- Effective writing style that is fresh, consistent and customer friendly

- Ability to edit and proof read with excellent research skills

- Ability to write in a variety of formats and styles for multiple audiences

- Ability to meet aggressive deadlines

- Ability to function effectively as part of a team

- Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality

- Ability to understand and follow directions

- Knowledge of multiple languages helpful

- Experience in writing for the Web, content management and internet research

- Experience with social networks and implementation of social media marketing

- Experience with HTML, CSS, and working with content management systems (CMS)

- An understanding of keywords and meta tags - Ability to write web page titles, meta tag descriptions, alt tags for images etc.

- Good knowledge about the IT service industry

- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally at all levels within the organization

- Self-motivated with the right attitude who can work well within extended teams

- Familiarity in working with any leading technology organization would be an added advantage
