- Our client is a fintech startup, revolutionizing the way Indians approach their finances no matter where they work, what they earn, or how tech-savvy they are. To date, they have raised $150 Million in funding, and have maintained a sharp focus on identifying customers- banking pain points and crafting solutions that improve their experience.

About the role :

- We are looking for a creative copywriter to join our client's team to write copy for the product communications. The ideal candidate would have at least 2+ years of experience in copywriting for brands or for agencies. Prior copywriting experience at leading consumer brands in the industry will be a plus.

Responsibilities :

1. Craft compelling copy for all product communications through SMS, email, push notifications etc.

2. Work with product managers and designers to define an exciting approach to communicate with our target audience with a distinct tone and voice

3. Ensure consistency in the product communication to build affinity and stickiness with the audience by paying attention to the nuance of language and tone across all our communication

4. Constantly measure messaging effectiveness by taking feedback from customers and internal stakeholders to iteratively experiment and improve the product communication

5. Study competitors and be well versed with industry practices and pop culture to create industry best product communications.

Skills :

1. Out of the box thinking and a high level of creativity to create crisp and engaging copy across communication channels

2. Must be proficient in English with exceptional copywriting skills. Excellent written and verbal skills to communicate with stakeholders and senior leadership

3. Must be able to work in a fast paced agile environment with ambiguity and take ownership of not just writing but also defining the overall content strategy and guidelines with the product team

Qualification and Experience :

1. Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Journalism or equivalent practical experience.

2. 2-3 years of experience as a copywriter for a consumer brand or at agencies

3. A portfolio of short form writing samples
