Content Writer - Automotive Sector - eCommerce (1-3 yrs)
Primary Responsibilities :
- Write articles including breaking news events for ZigWheels & BikeDekho
- Attend events such as carbike launches for on ground reporting You may even be required to assist review teams with carbike shoots
- Share daily story ideas with the news editor manager
- Identify news worthy content and source exclusive information
- Upload articles online using Content Management System and use appropriate in-links for cross-promotion of articles
- Tag Embed suitable videos to articles and product pages
- Ideate Coordinate with designers to create innovative user-friendly thumbnails and graphics
- Promote articles on social media (Instagram Twitter and app notifications) through content tailor-made for these platforms
- Monitor competition websites to ensure no articles have been missed out
- Write content for website's product pages (model pages) Regularly update them for hygiene and SEO purposes
- Write articles that cater to SEO and Product team needs
- Assist News Editors in maintaining various tracking performance sheets - daily news planning sheet articles formats completion status sheet weekly performance sheet etc
Key Performance Indicators :
- Increase website traffic -Improve content quality -Deliver timely content -Increase social followers engagement
Required Skills :
- Detail oriented - Time management skills. Ability to work under tight deadlines
- Excellent writing and communication skills - Multi-tasking
Interview process :
- On the first level, an assignment will be shared with relevant candidates as per their interest in the Car or Bike vertical.
- Once the candidate submits the assignment, the team will evaluate the same
- If the assignment gets shortlisted, the candidate will be aligned to F2F/Virtual interview.
