REQUIREMENTS:

- Degree in English, Mass Communication, Journalism, or related fields

- 2+ years of teaching experience, preferably as an English teacher

- 2+ years of professional content writing experience, preferably at an agency, with a solid portfolio of work

- Experience with SEO keyword research and best practices

- Clear fundamentals of English language and grammar

- Structured thought process and critical thinking

- Creative mindset, and ability to empathize with readers

- Quick learner with exceptional writing skills, and versatile writing style

- Ability to research and understand difficult, technical, or complex subjects and produce interesting, reader-friendly content

- Ability to work independently and with a team to meet deadlines

- Excellent time-management, organization and project management skills

- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Google Docs

Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Develop subject matter expertise on our vision, products, audience types, their needs, and our value proposition to them, along with the industry

- Produce well-written, grammatically correct, compelling, high-quality content for digital media and distribution.

- Write SEO-optimized content on identified topics of interest in the form of blogs, articles, social media copies, meta descriptions, product descriptions, scripts for videos, email marketing, press releases, etc.

- Conduct thorough research for your writing assignments, both for information and keyword research to bring in qualified traffic

- Perform periodic keyword research to identify the trending topics of interest for target audience and the best formats to create content on those topics

- Collaborate with the marketing team for new content & marketing ideas

- Develop and adhere to the brand's voice and style guide

- Able to self-edit and proof others- work

- Research, test, and continuously update content and strategy for improvements and impact.

- Organic Lead Generation via SEO and Direct Traffic
