Job Summary
We are looking for a Content Editor/Writer to join our editorial team and enrich our websites with new blog posts, guides,press release and marketing copy. If you- re familiar with producing online content and have an eye for detail, we- d like to meet you.
Responsibilities and Duties
1. Conducting thorough research on industry-related topics
2. Generating ideas for new content types
3. Research industry-related topics (combining online sources, interviews, and studies)
4. Proof-read and edit blog posts before publication
5. Conduct simple keyword research and use SEO guidelines to increase web traffic
6. Ensure all-around consistency (style, fonts, images, and tone)
7. Understand the scope of and edit full-scale business reports
8. Get familiar with web research techniques
9.Ensure that each document is grammatically correct, logical, well-structured, and coherent
10. Identify and put headings in the correct sequence
11. Check placement and citation of figures and tables
12. Check the texts references, journal abbreviations, and style reference list. Raise queries to the author regarding these and incorporate changes accordingly
13. Achieve production targets assigned for QA/Editor and meet multiple, competing deadlines
14.Adhere to the company's brand and style guidelines
Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications :
UG / PG (Preferred in English, literature, Mass Communication, Journalism)
