- Are you a dynamic copy editor passionate about crafting compelling, high-ranking, and highly searched content and copy? Do you pay an inexplicable amount of attention to grammar, have a superior knowledge of the English Language, and have an expert ability to create copy style guides, fact check, correct typos, edit copy and improve the overall readability of copy? If yes, then we're looking for you.

- To meet the growing demand for the TMRW House of Brands marketing team, we are looking for an exceptionally talented, bright, and driven individual to shape all our brands' marketplace and D2C presence and drive results through copy and communications. It would also help if you have a strong background in the fashion and lifestyle industry, and can communicate effectively to our customers about brands at different stages of the journey. As copy editor, your primary responsibility will be to lead the copy team of junior copywriters and create an SEO-driven copy strategy for our multiple brands, across marketplaces and D2C websites, across product descriptions, performance marketing assets, blogs, and footer content. Your role will be to accurately create, edit, and maintain copy and product-led information, both short form and long form, for all our brands' products.

- You will have the opportunity to work with and conceptualize end-to-end copy strategy for up-and-coming fashion and lifestyle brands, planning blogs and footer content, and conceptualizing and setting up copy style guides and editorial frameworks, processes, and annual roadmaps. You will be the owner of copy timelines, and daily/monthly schedules, plan blogs, anticipate issues, help overcome obstacles, make difficult trade-off decisions, and balance business needs and creative constraints. Experience in leading a copy team and SEO-led content generation is a must.

Role Objectives :


- Create high-quality, engaging, and informative content in various formats (blog posts, articles, product descriptions, landing pages, etc)

- Ensure ensuring completeness, accuracy, and suitability of all copies by fact-checking and maintaining a unique style guide for each of TMRW's brands. Ensure content is consistent with brand voice and style guidelines

- Proofread and fact-check all product descriptions and supporting information prior to releasing a product to be published to marketplaces (Amazon, Myntra, Flipkart, AJIO, and D2C websites). Key elements such as a product description, fabric, sizes, styling tips, and silhouettes are some top priority areas of review

- Maintain and meet daily copy editing quota with a quantity and quality assurance tracker and complete prioritized processing requests. Manage deadlines for you and your team effectively.

- Maintain a benchmarking manual of similar and competitive brands as well as create a guide for best-in-class copy. Stay up-to-date on content marketing trends and best practices

- Work collaboratively with the SEO team, brand managers, and marketplace teams to conduct keyword research to identify relevant and high-volume search terms and include these in the copy. Help track the efficiency of all copies being published. Make changes as per the results

- Work with the marketing managers to create exciting and engaging performance marketing content that will result in conversion

- Work with the internal PR and communications team to create exciting internal communications for TMRW employees

- Adopt an agile approach towards daily processes, constantly updating and adapting to process improvement initiatives that benefit the quality and out-of-work output and operations of the team

Basic Qualifications :


- Masters in English Literature/Communications/related fields

- Editorial experience preparing online content, content creation, and marketing

- Minimum 7- 8 years of professional proofreading, copyediting, and fact-checking experience in publishing for English content

- Minimum 3 years experience in Web-based publishing or e-commerce environment

- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Chat GPT, and Jasper AI

- Strong project management skills and ability to meet deadlines.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Demonstrated ability to work with a wide variety of people

- Demonstrated focused attention to detail

- Highly organized.

- An avid consumer of online media, including books (audio and print), websites, blogs, and other digital content sources

- Basic familiarity with SEO concepts, tools, and analytics platforms
