Contata Solutions - Executive - Presales (3-4 yrs)
Job Summary :
The Software Services / Solutions Presales Consultant provides support and works with sales team. This person supports the sales process by providing technical inputs in selling services / solutions, and with internal technical engineering organization to help propose the right solution to the market in US and Europe. The job will require overlap mode to work with the US market.
Job Responsibilities :
- Present and meet customers (virtually over audio / video meetings) with the sales team or independently to understand, discuss and present about services and solutions and to take the sales discussion forward in the selling process
- Understand customer business problems, need for technology solution and able to articulate high level solution requirements
- Conduct software service, product and / or solutions presentations and demonstrations
- Own the software solution proposal preparation, by coordinating internally
- Understand knowledge and information of the products, services, and solution of the company within a reasonable time, to be able to give technical / solution inputs during specific sales situations
- Coordinate preparation and provide inputs for online bids, RPF or RFI - as required
- Provide reports on presales funnel and other information for senior management and other stakeholders
- Provide inputs on sales strategy and service / solution selling as required
- Provide inputs and high level business requirements on any POCs required
- Keep presales information repository updated ata central place
Job Qualifications & Skills
- Candidates with Engineering (CS/ECE/IT/MCA) preferred. MBA in marketing would be an added advantage
- Good with working with Microsoft Office tools like Word, PowerPoint, etc. and other online tools to make work efficient and timely
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in software services and solutions sales support.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to clearly articulate and talk with various internal and external stakeholder and business leaders
- Proven track record to support the sales team in achieving their targets
- Good understanding of sales cycle and process with demonstrated experience in the same
- Good web based research skills to look for information in new areas (domain, service areas)
- Good written communication skills and good verbal comprehension skills required
- Responsible for gathering, analysing, and documenting business requirements
- Experience in writing presentations and presales business documents
- Interactions with the internal teams to ensure alignment of requirements across the pre-sales and delivery stages.
- Good communication skills and experience working with international customers.
- Understanding of software agile development life cycle and process
Nice to have skills :
- Desirable to have experience in service areas like - data analytics, machine learning, data engineering, cloud based development services.
- Deep understanding of some software and related technologies like Java, Dot Net, Database, Analytics, Visualization, Cloud, etc.
- Ability to rough sketch mock-up, wireframes.
- Experience in writing Proposals/RFPs/RFIs
- Identify and provide high level requirements for required POCs, Demos, etc. in presales situation with customer
