Community Manager - Marketing (2-3 yrs)

- Conducting events

- Organize developer-focused events such as webinars, talks user groups, hackathons, and classroom type engagements, for both current and new Organisation developers

- Identify and coordinate with speakers for the sessions

- Manage and produce internal reports on community reaction, activities and output.

- Communicate with relevant audience and most active participants pre/during/post different events; Collect vital feedback and share it with the product team

- Build relationships with the participants and speakers across all community initiatives

- Give demos and presentations about Organisation at meetups, conferences, etc.

- Content ; Social Media Engagement

- Develop and execute community content tactics that support the overall marketing strategy: includes but not limited to the creation of assets such as video blogs, podcasts, interviews, annotated screenshot

- Own the social media landscape for community engagement (primarily through Instagram, linkedin and Twitter)

- Ensure all community content, landing pages and other collaterals are created and distributed in a timely manner

- Making sure target audience is being engaged on social media channels on a regular basis

- Coordinate with Production, Marketing, PR and Communications teams

- Create a distribution plan to promote the community events

Requirements : 

- A passion for technology and a readiness to learn about Organisation

- Proven work experience as a community manager or similar customer facing role

- Experience planning, organizing and leading virtual and in-person community initiatives

- Ability to identify and track relevant community KPIs

- Excellent verbal communication skills to talk directly with the community and asking lots of questions to understand developers deeply

- Excellent presentation, listening, and writing skills

- Excellent interpersonal and presentations skills

- Hands on experience with social media management

- Empathy and unique ability to understand community needs

- Knowledge of online marketing

- Attention to detail, critical-thinker and problem-solver with an analytical mindset
