- We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Educational Counselor to join our university's counseling team. As an Educational Counselor, you will play a vital role in supporting and guiding students throughout their academic journey. Your main responsibility will be to provide comprehensive counseling services to students, assisting them in making informed decisions regarding their educational and career paths.

Responsibilities :

1. Conduct one-on-one counseling sessions with students to assess their academic needs, interests, and goals.

2. Provide guidance and advice on course selection, program requirements, and career pathways.

3. Assist students in developing personalized academic plans and monitor their progress.

4. Provide information and resources on scholarships, financial aid, and other educational opportunities.

5. Help students overcome academic challenges and develop effective study skills.

6. Collaborate with faculty and staff to address student concerns and provide appropriate support.

7. Organize and conduct workshops and information sessions on educational topics.

Qualifications :

1. Bachelor's degree .

2. Proven experience in educational counseling or a similar role.

3. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

4. Knowledge of academic advising principles and best practices.

5. Familiarity with educational and career resources.

6. Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations.

7. Excellent organizational and time management skills.

8. Proficiency in computer applications and student information systems.
