A fantastic opportunity to join Cognitive Design Technology, we're looking for an Manager-Sales The Account Manager is responsible for all sales activities, from lead generation through close in south India, and is responsible for meeting sales - new business as well as run rate - and growth targets by developing and implementing specific plans to fulfill Cognitive Design Technology visions for the customers, and enabling success for them - productivity, innovation, top and bottom line growth. Account managers must understand customer environment, their business priorities, their business and technical needs, build and present a solution vision and gain executive level sponsorship, develop and propose appropriate solutions, gain the purchasing commitment and manage the ongoing business relationship with the customers.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

- 5 Year experiences of Sales in Simulation software

- Engineering education background

- Understanding of EDA / CAE industries

- Develop, maintain, and implement account plans that contain strategies and action plans for maximizing account revenues

- Meet new business, run rate and services quota goals for the assigned accounts

- Formulate strategies for building and growing the accounts and maximize their potential value to Cognitive Design technology

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :

- BE Degree or equivalent

- Minimum bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline or bachelor's degree with >7 years technical sales experience, at least 3 years as a senior/key/named account manager, with a proven track record of success

- Must possess strong cross-functional team and leadership skills

- Travel is required

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS :

- EDA applications engineering experience is a strong plus

- Excellent skills in account management, strategic account planning, sales strategy, execution and closing

- Outstanding presentation, oral and written communication skills

- Excellent problem solving skills

- Ability to work independently
