We have an exciting opening with one of our client into NBFC

Position - Cluster Manager -Sales

Location- Mumbai

Qualification- Any Graduate / MBA (Finance/Marketing)

- As a Sales Manager/Cluster Manager, you'll be required to Visit Merchants, Retailers and SMEs. Task will be to establish the new loan product in its niche segment and maximize the benefit of a first entrant its space.

- Preferred Industry experience- Bank / NBFC handling sales in retail assets (unsecured)/ Merchant banking/ DSA/ similar industry experience

- Desired experience- Relevant experience of 5-10 years team handling of 8- 10 ppl

- Reporting to National Head

Role:

1. To develop a business plan and sales strategy for the market that ensures attainment of company sales goals and profitability.

2. To prepare action plans individually for effective search of sales leads, prospects, referrals & DSAs.

3. To maintain accurate DSR.

4. Recruiting & managing a team of customer acquisition managers

5. On field and off filed training of executives.

6. To provide timely feedback to senior management regarding sales performance of the team.

7. Recruiting and managing Referral channels.

8. Supervising the daily activities of executives and maintaining daily MIS of the same.

9. To confer with credit managers to aid in resolving loan application to disbursal issues.

10. To handle customer complaints and to take appropriate action to resolve them.

11. To negotiate payment arrangements with customers who have delinquent payment track record.

12. To update job knowledge by participating in training opportunities & by maintaining personal networks.

About Client-

Client offers an innovative loan product highly suited for the Retail and SME businesses. Client's philosophy is not to just lend, but to build a business relationship which translates to a win-win business engagement with their customers. Client gives loans against future credit card and debit card sales to retailers. Having piloted the product in 2012-13, Client has launched commercial operations in Mumbai, Bengaluru, Delhi, Chennai, Pune, Kolkatta, Jaipur, Chandigarh and Hyderabad and plans to expand to other markets in India shortly.

Client has recently launched its new offering, designed exclusively for online sellers on e-commerce marketplaces and retailers selling online through independent portals. Client also has strategic tie-ups with Flipkart and Snapdeal for financing online sellers on their respective marketplace platforms.

Client has developed a proprietary underwriting model where loan applicants are scored basis hundreds of data points all generated digitally. Loans get approved within 3-4 days, and a new pilot is underway for a 30-minute approval process. Client collects and generates huge volumes of data which is used to back test and refine scorecards, and Client also scores each and every account in its portfolio for risk every single day.

Client has experience in disbursement and management of loans to small businesses across various categories such as restaurants, apparel, CDIT, footwear, petrol pumps, health & beauty, groceries, pharmacies etc. Customers have liked the product very much, and this is evidenced by a renewal rate of over 85%. It is this customer loyalty which separates Client from most other lenders. While the company is a little more than 2 years old in commercial operations, it has customers in a 4th, and in some cases a 5th cycle of lending already.
