Cluster Development Head - NGO (3-8 yrs)
Skills :
- Knowledge and interest in community development.
- Experience of working in a Rural craft/ handloom project
- Minimum 3 years- Experience in Relevant Field - livelihoods, crafts, handlooms, textiles
- Strong Communication and documentations skills
- Computer Knowledge
- Leadership Qualities
- Ability to understand the challenges faced by artisan communities, and work closely with the local team to create a strong craft enterprise on the ground.
Degree in Rural Management would be preferred.
Experience of working at the grassroots, with rural communities would be required.
Responsibilities :
- Overall responsibility for project goals and targets
- Planning, executing and monitoring cluster development projects.
- Designing and conducting training workshops for artisans and craft managers
- To work closely with artisans and develop entrepreneurial skills.
- To support the setup of a supply chain for producer company.
- Ensuring that projects are running in line with the assigned budget.
- Proposal writing to secure new projects.
