Cleartrip - Category Manager (5-7 yrs)
Cleartrip is the largest online travel agent in GCC with >50% share for online flight bookings. With a gross booking value of $1.4 billion, Cleartrip is one of the few companies of scale in the Middle East in this space. Despite its dominant market share, Cleartrip MENA has been growing at >40% Y/Y, driven by an increasing shift of bookings from offline to online.
The role is based out of Dubai and is pivotal to Cleartrip's aggressive expansion plans in the MENA region.
Role Description:
Cleartrip MENA is looking for a miracle worker to manage & develop its air category out of Dubai. The role involves:
- Taking ownership of Air content & driving key business metrics to grow revenue
- Coordinating with multiple teams for the development of product features that improve UX
- Providing periodic inputs & reviews of suppliers' performance to strengthen supplier relations
- Managing conceptualization, execution, and performance of airline promotions with marketing & product teams
- Monitoring global trends in consumer behavior to evolve the Air product
- Monitoring market dynamics/trends to identify growth areas for the business
Desired Candidate :
- 5-6 years of experience, including Category Management/ Product Management experience
- Prior e-commerce experience mandatory
- Experience with web analytics, data mining & BI tools (GA, SQL, R/ Python, Tableau/Qliksense/Qlikview /PowerBI)
- Demonstrated ability to drive end to end execution in a cross-functional setting
- Self-starter with a strong academic background & outstanding analytical skills
- Detail-oriented with a strong bias for action
