Job description:

"Our Customer" is a full stack food tech platform focused on restaurant search, discovery and transactions. Across most of our focus countries, we are the go to food app for all our users. In the last few years "Our Customer" has also steadily built its transaction business on the back of a strong search and discovery business. Today "Our Customer" has multiple products and services that ensure our users have a great meal, every time!

We provide in-depth information for over 1 million restaurants across 24 countries.

"Our Customer" gets over 90 million sessions a month globally from users who want to search, discover, transact, rate, and review restaurants; as well as to create their own personal networks of foodies for trusted recommendations. We are also a leading player in food delivery, table reservations in our core markets and have also successfully launched two user subscription services.

"Our Customer" plays a critical role in restaurant ecosystem as well. Restaurants improve their discoverability and service through "Our Customer's" reviews and rating system.

Restaurant use "Our Customer" hyperlocal advertising platform to reach out to more users.

Additionally, products like "Our Customer" Order help them grow their delivery business and "Our Customer" Book helps optimize their table reservations. We are actively working on tech and processes to improve restaurant operations - ZIS and "Our Customer" Hygiene are some new projects to address the same. The aim is to continue creating cutting-edge technology to seamlessly connect restaurant businesses and customers in ways that will revolutionize the industry.

Here is what you will work towards and be responsible for:

Kolkata / Ahmedabad is one of our core focus markets in India for Online Ordering, and has high potential for further growth.

- Own and lead end to end city business and P&L for "Our Customer" O2 business in the city

- In- the next 12 months we foresee a potential 2x growth in our Deliver revenue in these markets and a significant growth in the number of merchants on-board. You will manage the revenue for the business by planning, strategizing, and executing operations to meet and exceed targets.


This would also involve :

1. Plan, prioritize and execute sustainable solutions for user and merchant growth

2. Own the full stack of roles from supply, fulfillment, product experience, marketing and user growth

3. Work closely with the central services team and solve for long and short term issues with sustainable solutions

4. Sustain and grow the revenue by new merchant acquisitions and retention

5. Build and lead a layered sales team - formulate targets, city priorities and incentive plans, drive recruitment, training and mentoring of team members to ensure individual growth and transfer of learning across the region

6. Develop plans for key accounts, manage their expectations and contribute towards client satisfaction

- To accomplish this we are looking for someone with - an aptitude for problem solving, ability for astute decision making and strong leadership skills to motivate and lead a high performing sales and account management team

Requirements

Who fits the bill?

- Should have 4 to 6 years of experience with substantial experience in driving numbers, business development, account management and sales roles across industry

- Enjoys solving complex problems through analytical excellence and commercial acumen

- Has strong people skills with 2+ years of experience in managing and leading layered teams and budgets

- Proven track record of achieving targets - including planning, team management and execution of plans to achieve the desired business goals

- Should possess - strong work ethic, willingness to get hands dirty and get stuff done

- Has good business judgment, strong prioritization skills, an unwavering- focus, and the ability to multitask while working in a highly charged environment
