Job role

We are searching for an experienced and self-driven Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) to join our marketing team! As a CMO, you will mainly be responsible for developing and implementing new marketing strategies and lead our marketing team by example. Your team will be responsible for conceiving, driving and implementing initiatives to increase brand presence and improve product adoption. The promotion of B2B EdTech products and services through digital channels is a complex procedure with great potential which becomes increasingly useful for companies such as ours.

Responsibilities :

- Set marketing goals and objectives.

- Plan, implement and manage marketing strategy.

- Develop and implement campaigns to better lead quality and beat the competition.

- Contribute to the overall growth of the company.

- Review and manage content marketing strategy.

- Determine KPIs for the marketing department.

- Keep the marketing budget in check.

- Track KPIs on a regular basis and present reports.

- Work with sales and development and customer success teams.

- Create and present the annual marketing plan and strategy.

- Use data and reports to make evidence-based decisions.

- Analyse company's marketing strategy and suggest improvements.

- Stay up to date with the latest technology and best practices with respect to digital marketing.

- Attend marketing conferences and educational programs.

- Working with your team to brainstorm new and innovative growth strategies.

- Overseeing and managing all contests, giveaways, and other digital projects.

- Design, plan and execute effective marketing campaigns.

- Plan, organise and execute team-building activities

- Manage the team of content writers, digital marketers, lead generation specialists etc., and assign them tasks on daily/weekly basis.

- Plan and set goals for the team.

- Conduct performance evaluations of your team members.

- Support the team with training and developmental activities.

Requirements :

- Minimum 12 years of experience in Marketing and minimum 6 years of experience in Digital Marketing.

- Post-Graduation in MBA with Marketing and/or Under-Graduate with B.E/ B.Tech IT/CSE.

- Experience of 3-5 years B2B SAAS companies is preferred.

- Experience in Education Industry is a value addition.

- Proven experience building campaign strategies from scratch.

- Perfect knowledge of web analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Search Console, WebTrends etc.).

- Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is required.

- Excellent Excel skills - familiarity with pivot tables and V-lookups is a huge bonus.

- In-depth knowledge of big data analysis.

- Regularly produce and present reports.

- Excellent organisational, time management and presentational skills.

- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
