Charactersketches - Manager - Sales - Wholesale Business (5-10 yrs)
- Implement and manage a wholesale ecosystem .
- Meet the Sales targets set for wholesale.
- Build partnerships with wholesalers and their retailers to develop the whole sale business.
- Engage and manage partnerships between wholesalers and manufacturers.
- Ensure adequate stocking of platinum Jewellery with Wholesalers.
- Smooth supply of stocks to wholesalers and its retailers, expanding to new markets and retailers.
- Push retail sales from wholesalers retailers.
Plan and Manage :
- Translate overall objective and plans into developing appropriate plans for wholesale.
- Execute plan for whole sale and deliver the agreed operating results
- Deliver operating aspects of building wholesale short- term and long term plans
- Execute policies and processes for wholesale
- Monitor performance and report periodically to internal and external stakeholders(Where required)
- Contribute to shaping the objectives and business plan on potential business opportunities, new initiatives and issues to address in relation to wholesale.
Trade partners (Wholesale) - Engage and Manage :
- Proactive identification and resolution of issues/ conflicts
- Identification and delivery of training programs, and in providing oversight of content preparation and delivery.
- Coordinate with Consumer Insights and Marketing team to enable effective implementation of the company's marketing programs by the trade partners(Where required).
- Conduct relevant statistical and market analysis to monitor performance and make recommendations on important business decisions.
- Prepare insights and share with internal stakeholders/ trade partners.
Desired Skills :
- The Candidate should have about 6-8 years experience in Jewellery wholesale - with a depth of understanding of the wholesale channel Eco system, merchandising, and business aspects.
- Business acumen with a sound Knowledge of developing business plans and the implementation process.
- Experience of working with senior executives/ management team in providing professional and sound advice.
- Ability yo establish and maintain positive working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to facilitate accomplishment of work.
- This position strives to translate the company's goal and strategy into relevant plans for the trade function and deliver the targets for the function.
- Travel is an integral part of the profile and mainly involves domestic travel
