CFO Collective - Senior Manager - Sponsorship Sales (7-10 yrs)

We are recruiting a Senior Sales Manager to grow the brand revenue through sponsorship and ad sales for a portfolio of scheduled, multi-sponsor events, custom events and online programmes across India. The position could be based in Mumbai, Delhi or Bangalore. We are seeking a seasoned event sales expert to:

- Manage the entire business development process (prospect, qualify, proposal, negotiate and close) and work effectively with other functions across CFO India

- Maintain personal responsibility and maximise revenue for a defined portfolio of events and online initiatives

- Grow a new client portfolio

- All India sales responsibility

In the role you will be expected to:

- Achieve and exceed the revenue target on a consistent basis

- Produce accurate and regular sales forecasts

- Take responsibility for the creation, development and execution of new products

- Build relationships with clients to maximise revenue opportunities and grow future business

- Sell sponsorship on the full range of our event products, including custom, multi-sponsor and virtual events

- Digital sales to include advertising space on website, webinars, videos and podcasts

- Construct and send necessary proposals, pricing, and contracts

- Work effectively with a cross functional team, including brand team, finance and operations teams.

- Build connect with CFOs and sell membership programmes.

To succeed in the role, you must have:

- Experience in a new business role

- 7-8 years of proven experience in a similar selling capacity; experience selling event sponsorship or Digital sales is a definite plus

- Experience presenting to and negotiating with senior decision makers of large multi-national corporations

- Knowledge of the Digital programmes, events and sponsorship industry

- Familiarity with editorial processes

- Strong account and project management skills

- A master's in business management or equivalent business qualification
