Category Marketing - Grocery

1. In charge of the Go To Market for launches in Grocery category. Launches are the oxygen of this category and any grocery product's success is determined by its Launch.

2. This role involves working closely with the marketing communications team to develop the assets for all the relevant communication mediums for mobile launches, sustenance campaigns and for grocery category related campaigns.

3. Responsible for bringing new customers to Grocery as per the requirement thru the year - Planning and developing effective marketing communication campaigns for category growth, new launches, and sustenance.

4. Understanding the Whys behind the sales of different brands and price segments - and build on the same to give the right messaging on all touch points customized by brand models.

5. Content Ideation/Creation to drive engagement in the category and on specific brands through Own Media and other customer touch points

a. Working with in-house/ external designers to produce materials of visual impact and within brand guidelines.

b. Improving the usability, design, content, and conversion of the assets prepared for social and digital.

6. Marketing Analytics:

a. Understanding of how digital marketing domains work for Grocery category and prepare the roadmap for Digital marketing for the category basis that

b. Generating reports for digital marketing campaigns using data based analytics tools and also presenting this data in an easy to understand format.

Requirements of the role:

- Degree in Marketing would definitely help; however not a requirement for the right candidate

- Understanding of different media vehicles, experience of working with agencies will help

- Strong project management/organisational skills.

- Ability to use spreadsheets to analyse data and spot trends.

- Understanding of customer segmentation.
