Category Manager - Home & Decor Segment (2-6 yrs)
About the role
The category manager will be responsible for merchandising and driving the sales of the category
In this role you will:
- Be responsible for merchandising and assortment planning and selection scale-up by assessing the customer needs
- Build the pricing strategy and provide the right inputs to the seller team
- Train and Support Seller onboarding team to identify the sellers and products
- Responsible for assessing the quality of the manufactured products and ensure right QC/testing is carried out
- Work with horizontal teams like content, cataloguing and product to ensure that the products are showcased in the best possible manner to the customer
Qualifications :
- Should have detailed understanding of this category along and preferably the production process
- Has an eye for detail and quality
- 3-5 years of experience in Home decor & furnishing industry on the buying or merchandising side
