CALYX Container Terminals - Regional Sales Manager (6-12 yrs)
- Developing new market for Micro fines/Micro Silica Material and promoting our new brand
- Coordination with the plant for sampling for new customers or new products.
- Initiate product trial with new customer.
- Responsible for smooth flow of payment from debtors within stipulated time frame and also maintain minimum chances of Bad-debt.
- Follow up for payment according to payment terms.
- Always keep on touch with freight provider & logistic team to reach material with cheapest freight.
- Take care customer complaint & solving with our technical or R & D team.
- Competitor's activity-Gather other supplier's information and discuss with the management & technical team.
- To identify new potential clients, application & generate business.
- Expertise in handling direct industries and dealer network to maintain existing business and determining
- strategic business direction to propel the business growth by adding new customers.
- Provide pre and post sales assistance to customers. Maintain good rapport with "Key Decision Maker" at customers and closely monitor the key competitor's activities.
- Achieves regional sales operational objectives by contributing regional sales information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews.
- Prepares and completes action plans and implements production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards
- Resolves problems, completes audits, identifies trends, determines regional sales system improvements, and implements change when necessary.
- Meets regional sales objectives by forecasting requirements, preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions.
- Establishes sales objectives by creating a sales plan and quota for districts in support of national objectives.
- Maintains and expands customer base by counseling district sales representatives, building and maintaining rapport with key customers, and identifying new customer opportunities.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly sales reports and submit your findings and analysis to senior management
- Serve as the point of contact with vendors, distributors, and brokers in your region
- Inform senior management of any discrepancies or issues with sales team goals and results
- Prepare and review the annual budget for the area of responsibility
- Analyse regional market trends and discover new opportunities for growth
