Buying & Merchandising Role - Home Decor (2-5 yrs)
Role & responsibilities
Category Management -
- Range planning/Merchandise assortment planning.
- Season Launch plan.
- Trend mapping & New Product Development.
- Benchmarking/ Market survey & feedback
- New Category development
- Responsible for top line & bottom line growth for category.
- Provide promotional & annual sale plan.
Order planning & management.
- Managing the OTB, Buying & stock levels as per the Annual Business plan.
- Training to the Sales team on products & its care instructions.
Vendor Management :
- Managing the existing vendor base.
- Should have good knowledge & vendor base in relevant Home dcor categories (Candle Dcor, Artifacts, Vases, Planters, and Accent Furniture etc in India).
- Good negotiation skills in terms of pricing & trade terms with the vendor.
- Controlling the vendors in terms of timely order deliveries, maintaining the Quality as per standard etc.
- Controlling the rejection & returns of the vendor with the help of Warehouse.
- Coordinating with accounts department & warehouse for smooth account management of the vendor.
Salary -
2 LPA -2.5LPA
