Overview :

The Business Relationship Manager is responsible for delivering value to the business by ensuring that clear and precise communications are sent to key business Stakeholders, Managers, Directors and Executives when unplanned outages and/or performance related events impact critical business systems. This role has a true understanding of the business area in which it serves. BRM's have a good understanding of key performance indicators and how they relate to business goals, critical success factors, underlying processes as well as outcomes and deliverables within the end to end value chain.

Primary Responsibilities :

- Primary business escalation point of contact for L3 and L4 business managers, Leads, Subject Matter Experts and Application Owners.

- Responsible for driving critical high impact issues on behalf of the business regardless of the support organization or vendor delivering the IT service or solution.

- Responsible for hosting daily, weekly and monthly business review calls - includes developing and delivering content, collaborating with both business and IT teams and consolidating material from other IT service/support providers.

- Responsible for leading cross-functional application / infrastructure support team discussions where collaborative troubleshooting and analysis is required to resolve business / IT issues.

- Responsible for establishing and nurturing business relationships with business Leads, Subject Matter Experts, Application Owners, Directors, VP's and Executives

- Responsible for conducting IT service related training sessions for key business stakeholders to ensure all client domains are aware of the services offered by DXC.

- Responsible for orchestrating and either hosting or participating in enhanced client revenue protection meetings during month and quarter end close business periods to ensure all revenue impacting support related issues are tacked, accurately prioritized and worked through closure by DXC support teams.

Education and Experience :

- Bachelor's Degree in IT, Business Management or related field.

- 5+ years of functional business unit work experience in the areas of Finance, HR, Accounting, Procurement, Information Technology, Payroll, Benefits and Employee Compensation.

- 4+ years of functional experience working in a shared services IT based environment.

- 2+ years of experience delivering text and oral content to upper level managers or Executives.

- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.

Knowledge and Skills :

- Strong command of the English language - excellent writing skills required including proper grammar structure

- Exhibits a high level of initiative and integrity.

- Possess creative abilities, consulting skills, leadership qualities, credibility and self-confidence and is capable of managing a dynamic workload.

- Possess the ability to work with geographically dispersed teams.
