Business Manager ( Fashion Industry ) - Bangalore

Our client caters to Fashion Industry with their Supply Chain and Merchandising Services. They would like to fill-up the following position asap.

Position : Business Manager ( Fashion Industry )

Location : Bangalore

Education : Degree in Apparel Manufacturing/ Textile Engineering / NIFT & MBA from Tier-1 Institute.

Experience : 6-8 years in Fashion Industry

Compensation : Commensurate with education and experience

Role Responsibilities and Desired Profile : As a business manager, your primary responsibility is to ensure that the organization/department you manage is performing at peak efficiency. Below is a list of common responsibilities for a business manager:

Strategic planning :

- Developing and implementing the overall business strategy. You will have to work with senior management to set goals, objectives and action plans. This involves conducting market research, analysing business trends and determining the best strategies to increase productivity.

Budget management :

- Business managers are typically responsible for managing budgets, allocating resources and monitoring financial performance. It is your responsibility to analyse financial reports, identify areas for cost savings or revenue growth and ensure that financial goals are met. You also have to set budgets and ensure that departments adhere to these budgets.

Operations management :

- Business managers oversee day-to-day operations to ensure that processes are efficient and effective. This involves coordinating different departments, setting performance targets, and implementing measures to improve productivity. You may also have to recruit and train new employees, manage staff performance, and resolve any staff issues that may arise.

Responsibilities :

- Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction

- Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs

- Arrange business meetings with prospective clients

- Promote the company's products/services addressing or predicting clients' objectives

- Prepare sales contracts ensuring adherence to law-established rules and guidelines

- Keep records of sales, revenue, invoices etc.

- Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support

- Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers

- Develop entry level staff into valuable salespeople

- Client Management

- Top & Bottom line sales.

- Taking care of Product Sales.

Requirements and skills :

- Minimum 6-8 years of experience

- Proven working experience as a business development manager, sales executive or a relevant role

- Proven sales track record

- Experience in customer support & client Management

- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software (e.g. Salesforce)

- Proficiency in English

- Market knowledge

- Communication and negotiation skills

- Ability to build rapport

- Time management and planning skills

- Background of Apparel Manufacturing,/Textile Engineering/NIFT & MBA from Tier-1 Institute.
