Business Head - Sales - Modular Electrical Power Panel (10-20 yrs)
The Opportunity :
- Business Development Head : Senior Level in Management with a National and International Role. Operating from headquarters in Bengaluru, India.
- To strategically position Modutec in the modular electrical enclosure systems market in India and Globally.
- To continually understand the needs of Panel Builders, System Integrators and OEMs as well as those of the Specifiers, Electrical Consultants and Large Users and collaborate with R&D to ideate innovations that serve these requirements.
- To guide the Sales team at Bengaluru and different locations in product knowledge, proposal engineering, competitor understanding, and ABC customer categorisation.
- To measure, monitor and manage the Sales Funnel regarding Enquiries, Qualification, Quoting/Regretting, Follow-up, Handling Objections and Closing.
- To be target-focused in Sales by monitoring Quarter-on-quarter numbers while meeting and beating the top and bottom-line Annual Targets. Accuracy of Sales Forecasting and market trends is a crucial portfolio to be managed.
- Establishing Panel Partners, OEMs, Distributors and System Integrators
- Nationally and in the MEA, SEA & ANZ regions while steadily progressing across the Globe.
- Support the Distributors by creating a market pull, a counter visibility and schemes to motivate periodically.
- Seeking approvals from Specifiers like Electrical Consultants, large business houses in the Renewables, Rail and Metro Projects, CPWD, Data Centers, Drives and Automation System Integrators.
- Educational support to Panel Partners in IEC 61439 and allied areas of technical handholding as needed.
- E-commerce to be explored for the market range of Modutec products and campaigns conducted to promote sales across all participating platforms.
- Drive the MODSIM Software use amongst Panel Builders and empower value for them and their businesses.
- To hone the 2nd line of Leaders in the Department and offer constant healthy feedback on their performance, career paths and learning & growth projects.
- To collaboratively build the Brand Modutec via Digital Marketing, Email campaigns, Website upgrading, Brochure and communications, Product display at the Modutec Experience Center in-house as well as in Exhibitions participation, Telemarketing, Webinars organising and so on in a timely, focused and creative manner.
We seek :
- An Electrical/Mechanical Engineer with Managerial qualification/experience & ideally with international exposure. Work experience expected is 10 to 20 years, with a significant portion of this managing a sales and marketing team.
- Experience in the sales & estimation of Panel Building with good knowledge of IEC 61439 and the trending allied Type Tests & requirements is ideal.
- Should be fluent in English, both written and spoken. Familiarity with Hindi and other languages would be welcome.
- Demonstrated capability to be evident in profitable growth, negotiating skills and process-oriented working. Compensation
