Position Overview :


We are seeking a talented business editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional writing and editing skills, capable of producing original content and refining existing material for both client facing and internal purposes. The Business Editor will play a pivotal role in ensuring the clarity, accuracy and effectiveness of our communications across various platforms.

Roles & Responsibilities :

- Write original copy and edit content for a diverse range of client and internal materials, including but not limited to reports, articles, presentations, story writing and marketing collateral.

- Equip employees with the language skills necessary to effectively communicate with colleagues, clients and stakeholders.

- Research and Interpret creative briefs to effectively tailor content to meet client objectives and expectations.

- Demonstrate a keen eye for detail, ensuring accuracy in grammar, punctuation and style while maintaining consistency with brand guidelines.

- Translate complex and technical information into clear, concise and engaging narratives suitable for diverse audience.

- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, design and business development, to develop, revise and enhance both internal and external content.

- Provide language and report writing training to internal employees.

- Proactively contribute ideas for content development and improvement, staying abreast of industry trends and best practices.

- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, adhering to deadlines and prioritizing tasks as needed.

- Uphold a high standard of quality and professionalism in all communication, fostering positive relationships with clients and stakeholders.

Qualifications & Experience :

- Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, marketing , or a related field.

- 4+ years of proven experience in writing, editing and content creation, preferably within a business or corporate environment.

- Exceptional writing editing skills, with a strong command of grammar, style and tone.

- Ability to break down complex concepts into clear and compelling messaging.

- Proficiency in conducting research and synthesizing information from diverse sources.

- Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team oriented environment.

- Detail oriented approach and commitment to accuracy and precision.

- Familiarity with content management systems and publishing platforms is a plus.

- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines in a fast paced environment.
