- Business development specialist Freight Forwarder - 10 to 15L
- We are heavy lifting Transportation Company based at Goregaon, Mumbai with branches at PAN India basis. We provide integrated logistics services specializing in Over- Dimensional and Project Cargo (ODC) through Multimodal operations.
- We are looking for Business Development professional with 10+ years experience in the Freight forwarding Industry with at least 6 years being in a Regional/Pan India Freight Management Role. This will be an individual contributor role (with scope to build & lead a team in the future) with responsibility to acquire new customers for our Freight Forwarding Division.
- The candidate will be expected to deliver against revenue targets from new customer acquisitions, building team with a common vision and manage the entire business. Further, the candidate is expected to have required skill set and knowledge of business know-how as detailed in below.

Job Description & Key Responsibility :
- Should have good network in market
- Investigate and plan the most appropriate route for a shipment, taking into account the perishable or
hazardous nature of goods, cost, transit time and security.
- In-Dept knowledge Incoterms, LCL & FCL.
- Keep control and maintain communication through all phases of the journey, including the production of management reports and statistical and unit-cost analysis
- Maintain current knowledge of relevant legislation, political situations and other factors that could affect the movement of freight.
- Deal with special arrangements for transporting ODC & Break-bulk cargo.
- Need to arrange appropriate packing, taking into account the climate, terrain, weight, cost and nature of goods and also the delivery and warehousing of goods at their final destination.
- Negotiate contracts, transportation and handling costs
- Obtain, check and prepare documentation to meet customs and insurance requirements, packing specifications, and compliance with other countries' regulations and fiscal regimes.
