Business Development Specialist - Digitally Connected Supply Chain Network (5-10 yrs)

Business Development Specialist to expand our business and improve our presence in the Supply Chain and Logistics sector. As a Business Development Specialist, your duties will include hunting new logos, establishing networks with industry specialists, maintaining valued customer relationships, and negotiating strategic deals. To be successful in this role, you should demonstrate extensive experience in business development strategies and marketing.

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT SPECIALIST RESPONSIBILITIES :

- Identifying and closing strategic new logos and bringing in revenue upside.

- Analyzing and expanding business operations towards sustained growth.

- Monitoring revenue streams and identifying opportunities to increase profitability.

- Evaluating and improving sales, marketing, and branding strategies.

- Identifying and developing new lines of business based on consumer behavior.

- Performing competitor analysis toward obtaining an increased market share.

- Developing client relationships and strengthening industry partnerships.

- Identifying new clients by researching and creating networking opportunities.

- Negotiating and closing business deals that promote sustained revenue.

- Liaising with Marketing, Engineering, and Management to align strategies aimed at increasing revenue.

- Assessing and advising on potential partnerships, mergers, and acquisitions.

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT SPECIALIST REQUIREMENTS :

- Any degree is acceptable. What is non-negotiable is basic common sense and empathy towards customers and fellow teammates.

- Previous experience as a Business Development Specialist in a B2B Enterprise Solution selling space will be huge bonus.

- Proficiency in Internet technologies, Cloud computing, SCM process and workflow, Logistics (Road, Rail, and Ocean freight) ecosystems are preferred.

- Advanced knowledge of sales plans, business development, marketing strategies, and revenue projections.

- Experience in identifying profitable business opportunities and potential clients.

- Exceptional ability to analyze market trends and competitor behavior.

- Ability to maintain strong client relationships and establish industry partnerships.

- Competency in negotiating and closing large business deals.

- Ability to advise on possible joint ventures, mergers, and acquisitions.

- Extensive domestic and international travel.

- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
