Business Development Role - Healthcare (5-8 yrs)
An AI driven health tech platform is hiring for the profile of Business Development.
Location: Gurgaon
Qualification:-
- Relevant bachelor's degree; preference for Healthcare or related degrees
- Any certification in healthcare management would be an added advantage
Experience:-
- 5+ years' experience in leading healthcare / health insurance organizations
- Been in a client facing & customer relationship role for atleast 2 years
Roles & Responsibilities :
- Identify, list, and categorize hospitals to promote products, in line with the business strategy defined by the leadership, in the allocated geography.
- Act as a team member, work cohesively, act with clarity and assist whenever sought for.
- Possess thorough and clear knowledge of the products offered and be able to demonstrate them to potential hospitals and other healthcare providers.
- Identify, connect, and maintain a cordial relationship with key decision makers of hospitals/healthcare providers.
- Prepare proposal documents, notes, or any other relevant and suitable business documents for perusal by hospitals and healthcare providers, in consonance with the policies and framework of the company.
- Shall not offer/present unfulfillable promises or unachievable results to hospitals and healthcare providers to achieve business results.
- Able to work independently in conducting and gathering business intelligence pertaining to a healthcare provider in question in the interest of the company.
- Create a window of opportunity for the leadership to take part in meetings and enable closure of the same.
- Work along with the Business/Strategy Head to present about the company through physical appearance as far as possible, or through a virtual connects, in case of unavoidable circumstances.
- Record, document, and update business information in the chosen application designated for use by BD managers, and keep it updated all the time for review by the leadership.
- Work diligently towards meeting the targets set, identify any shortcomings, and seek assistance of the leadership.
- Work closely with allied functions like Operations, Customer Success, IT & Engineering, etc., in providing timely, appropriate, and verifiable information in the form of presentations, documents, notes, etc.,
- Maintain consistent relationship with the stakeholders involved in organizing subsequent interactions, keeping the leadership informed of the progress and developments.
- Keep track of and notify information about competitors operating in the segment as and when available in the allocated geographical area.
- Always maintain confidentiality of information and exhibit professionalism, sense of responsibility and act with ownership.
