Business Development Role - Air Cargo Freight Forwarding (5-7 yrs)
Main Responsibilities :
- Work across the global sales and product organization in understanding the technology and its features, benefits, and value proposition and generate leads proactively with existing and new customers and engage at a senior level with freight forwarder product and operations teams.
- Create and qualify leads, plan and execute sales and engagement activities and manage sales targets through the use - of our CRM.
- Provide market and customer insights which help in providing structured feedback to the product teams and also help in setting targets and closing sales leads in India.
- Upsell new platforms and features to existing customers by gaining a strong understanding of the customer organization, decision-makers and customer needs.
- Create and work on campaigns with the HQ which are linked to India-centric launches, generate leads and progress them along the pipeline in the CRM.
- Work with the larger organization and plan activities related to after-sales, data support with the help of our data teams and customer operations teams.
Basic qualifications :
- You have at least 5 years of sales experience, preferably with large customers.
- You feel comfortable with working in a matrix and performance-driven organization.
- You bring air cargo industry knowledge.
- You are willing to travel within the sales territory identified and given the current scenario is adept at influencing customer decisions over the phone and remote tools like VC.
- You are able to meet ambitious targets and feel comfortable at adapting to a fast-paced and ever-changing landscape of technology.
- You have to talk the talk. Which means you need to be a fluent Hindi and English speaker.
- A proactive, result-oriented individual who thrives in both independent environments and teamwork.
- You enjoy working with remote teams globally and in India, and have a flair for working with new tools and technology.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Bachelor in Business Administration or similar.
- Experience in an online transactional business company (meaning a tech company whose revenue is coming from price per online transaction)
- Experience at global companies. Because we are very global.
