About Wandertrails:

Wandertrails is a mobile and web platform enabling on-demand booking of experiences indigenous to a particular location as well as related experiential accommodation complimenting these experiences. Wandertrails operates in a curated marketplace model with a strong emphasis on integrity and depth of listings. Authenticity of experiences and accommodation is ensured through an on-ground audit and professional creative shoot.

Business lines:

We have two primary business lines:

- Experiences and activities indigenous to the location. These experiences can be a backwater houseboat ride, mountaineering, paddy field farming lessons with local villagers, tribal tours of the unexplored forest, a wine tasting tour, a dine in with a local, night trekking, sky diving, other adventure sports or even a food trail tour!

- Experiential accommodation like heritage homes, homestays, boutique resorts and holiday villas that complement the above experience.

An increasing number of travellers are looking at unique experiences, thrill of adventure and offbeat accommodation in their travel. In addition, there is also a rising demand from city dwelling population for activities that can be explored on a day to day basis. Both these segments are looking at an easy to use, exquisitely designed platform like Wandertrails to address their needs on an on-demand basis

Our product will strive to ensure a superior play acrossthe 3D- sin the Experiences and Activities space-Discovery (through superior curated breadth and depth of content), Decision Making (pricing transparency, customer reviews) and Delivery of Experiences (Fulfillment check points and feedback)

The founding team comprises of IIM alums, Ex-Bain & A.T. Kearney Consultants, WEF recognized Global shapers, Ex-CEO of India's first Public Pvt. Incubator who cumulatively hold multiple titles including Asia's most talented CMO- s, India's best brand manager etc.

Role: Business Development (Field Sales)

Reporting to: Sales Head

Experience: 2-3 years

Location: Bangalore

Interview Process: 2 rounds

Roles and Responsibilities:

- New Venture Development

- Prospect potential new clients and turn them into long-term clients

- Identify potential clients and decision-makers and build relationships with them.

- Cold-calling within a specified market or geographic area to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities

- Travel to various locations within the state for the purpose of obtaining business

- Use a variety of marketing styles to persuade or negotiate
