We are looking for a Manager of Sales Operations, who would be using data, technology and best in class process to help us scale nationally and would be responsible for the overall productivity and effectiveness of the sales team.

The role would be reporting into Gaurang Shah and Devang Shah, co founders of Bulk MRO. They both graduated from University of Pennsylvania, post which Gaurang was a consultant at McKinsey & Co's New York office and Devang was a trader at Deutsche Bank and Citigroup's New York trading desks.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Management:

- Working closely with the executive team to coordinate on sales forecasting, planning, and budgeting processes.

- Managing lead lists, ensuring that all fields are updated and accurate, and seeking and destroying any duplicate leads

- Increasing revenue from existing clients by effectively prioritizing enquiries and quotations by analyzing, tracking and reporting of the sales pipeline

Analytics and business insights:

- Proactively identifying critical issues impacting sales and strategy from metrics including lead-to-sales analysis and segment/account trends

- Building and standardizing a process of evaluating and analyzing data to determine which enquiries to prioritize to increase revenue

- Monitoring the accuracy and efficient distribution of sales reports and other intelligence essential to the sales organization.

Collaboration with Sales Team:

- Conducting daily meetings with the sales teams to review the sales pipeline and drive the team to convert sales

- Work closely with sales management to inspect sales process quality and prioritize opportunities for improvement.

- Travelling within and outside the city to oversee sales teams as well as or client visits

Platforms and systems:

- Monitoring the sales teams compliance with required standards for maintaining CRM data.

- Evaluate multiple CRM software to understand which one is the most robust, cost effective and offers the most value and drive the transition from the current inhouse CRM software

Pricing and contracting support:

- Enable the sales team with high-quality proposals that can be turned around quickly and efficiently

- Positioning contracts competitively, while also fulfilling company and customer objectives by establishing mutual value

Desired candidate profile:

Must Haves:

- 5+ years of experience in sales operations

- Experience managing large volume of enquiries and quotations (100-200 per day)

- Proficient in any CRM systems (eg. Salesforce or FreshSales)

- Strong analytical skills and ability to derive insights and provide strategic recommendations

- Willingness to travel 10-20% of the time for client visits as well as to visit teams outside of Mumbai

Preferred:

- Experience with transitioning or implementing CRM systems

- Experience in achieving aggressive sales targets

- Experience of managing large sales teams and complex sales funnels
