Job Description :
- Identify the Brand positioning of various Brands (under purview) and develop the positioning strategy for each Brand
- Prepare annual plans and budget planning activities for all brands under purview
- Assist the Head Marketing in preparing the annual marketing budget in line with the overall business objectives
- Approve the media promotion strategy for promotion of Brands by recommending an optimum mix of media channels and media buying
- Develop market entry strategy for previously untapped geographies based on market intelligence, and validate the same with Head Marketing
- Scan the business environment to explore options for revenue generation from new and existing customers
- Assume responsibility of developing all brand extension strategies, along with the Head Marketing
- Develop and implement processes to capture market information and changing customer preferences; analyze them, - highlight key trends and their impact on own Brand(s)
- Ensure that each brand identity and brand equity developed is in alignment with the overall corporate brand
- Monitor brand-wise budget vis- vis actual expenditure
- Monitor coordination between advertising & branding agencies and the brand teams
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of own Brands against benchmarked targets
- Ensure a high level of Brand recall in each product segment
- Approve Content development and creative planning ensuring that the advertising plans are in line with the overall Marketing strategy
- Establish and deploy Service Level Agreements with various vendors and service providers
Candidates :
- 3-10 years of total experience with prior experience of independently handling brands in FMCG product category
- Demonstrated growth in market share, brand health etc. in previous roles handled
- Handled media buying and design and implemented ATL/BTL activities in the previous roles
- Should have successfully implemented multiple marketing campaigns including at least one brand repositioning initiative in his / her career
- Experience / involvement in NPD and consequent brand interventions; Successfully executed at least one new product launch
