Blume Global - Sales Development Role (2-6 yrs)

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) will sell Blume's CarrierGo Transportation Management Software (TMS) for trucking companies. The ideal candidate must be able to articulate the value propositions to all stakeholders in the prospect organizations, from CEO's to Owner Operators and Dispatchers. They must help build a robust sales pipeline through engaging outbound leads and account-based prospecting. The SDR will generate opportunities through sharing new ideas, business trends, and Blume Global point of view with prospects. They will also provide feedback to both the marketing and sales organizations.

Blume Global is looking for enthusiastic, self-starters with a mindset to focus on identifying, developing and nurturing prospective customers. In this role, you are a strategic prospector comfortable with calling and engaging supply chain, logistics, and operations executives, navigating large organizations, and conducting account-based research. To be successful, you must have enthusiasm, demonstrate initiative, have outstanding business acumen, excellent work-ethic, and be coachable.

Responsibilities:

- Understand Blume Global's product portfolio and effectively communicate Blume Global's overall value proposition to key decision makers.

- Meet or exceed SDR sourced Sales Accepted Opportunity (SAO) volume targets. Build a strong pipeline of sales opportunities for field sales reps to deliver on sales targets through executive multi-touch outreach via cold calls/email/LinkedIn reach outs, etc.

- Utilising business and industry knowledge to research accounts, identify key players, generate interest, create/identify compelling events, and develop accounts.

- The SDR will also coordinate with their AE counterparts to determine the accounts that require research and prospecting activities to secure a sufficient flow of additional qualified opportunities.

- Qualify outbound inquiries from marketing demand generation activities to achieve lead generation targets

- Document activities and prospect interactions in the CRM to ensure efficient lead management and nurturing within the context of our sales process

- Disciplined and diligent approach to daily time and task management

Requirements :

- Bachelor- s/Master's degree in business management or related field

- 3-5 years of prospecting or lead qualification experience preferred

- Ability to work in a dynamic, collaborative, team environment

- Proven history of achieving business targets

- Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills

- Must have a commitment to professional development and be coachable

- Able to work in the US shift.

- Knowledge around CRM software like Salesforce and email marketing tools/cadences would be a plus.
