New Business Acquisition Associate :

Blowhorn is looking for a high-performing Growth Champion who will drive new customer acquisition and revenue growth for your region while being competitive and innovative. You will be responsible for maximizing the potential of the growth and the team.

You will be working with the upper management of Blowhorn in executing growth plans your region.

Job Overview :

- An Individual will ensure that Blowhorn maintains and expands its outstanding position in the market.

- As a result of the individual's years of experience in our industry the person knows how we can grow profitably and can use this to define ambitious but realistic targets and strategies for increasing sales

- The individual will act as the interface between the sales team and the senior management to implement the region sales strategy in line with targets

- The role is primarily a hunting role

What you will do :

- Quarterly planning of growth targets of new customer acquisition and revenue along with the senior management of Blowhorn.

- Define new customer target groups and potential, industry and category potential in the region.

- Curate action plans (weekly and monthly) and execute the same to achieve the growth targets.

- Analyze customer potential, industry and category potential and competitors - and determine strategies for the same

- Present our products and services to existing and potential customers.

- Responsible for the sales activities of the office and implementing these together with the sales team across all categories of vehicles.

- Oversee timely collection and follow up on critical outstanding payments

- Maximize the utility of CRM tools for data analysis and deep selling

- Keep the central sales analyst continuously updated with insights on a daily basis for effective selling.

- Should have a professional approach to dealing with customers and colleagues.

- Should be competent in customer relationship management and selling skills

What we are looking for :

- The ideal Candidate is a self-starter, is enterprising, is a great planner and a superb executor

- Minimum graduate in any discipline from a recognized university

- Minimum 2 - 4 years of sales experience in B2B. Should be an active sales person as this is a hunting role

- Should have experience working on ambitious monthly sales revenue targets

- Experience in trucking and logistics industry will be an added advantage

- Prior experience in handling CRM tools is good to have

- Entrepreneurial thinking and action, Powers of persuasion, diplomatic panache, excellent communication skills and outstanding on closing deals

- Outstanding analytical faculties and an affinity for numbers

- Ability to deal with conflicts and a solution-oriented approach to work

Skillsets :

- Proven track record of developing new customer accounts with little brand equity requiring heavy prospecting, cold calling, appointment setting and closing ability.

- Proven track record of sales success, fast growth and consistently achieving performance at 100% or above

- Excellent communication and time management skills.

- Ability to develop and deliver presentations.

- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interpret marketplace needs and translate them into products and/or services.

- Demonstrated ability to learn a product line quickly through self-initiative and discipline.

- Technical aptitude (MS-Office, Internet applications,)
