About the company :

- Blackboard radio is an award-winning venture-funded ed-tech enterprise started by IIT Delhi alumni. Blackboard Radio is a practice-first English Speaking app for children for classes 1-10. The app engages children by giving them daily speaking practice with help of teachers and cutting-edge technology.

- Research proves that focused exposure to English in early childhood results in better language acquisition.

- Furthermore, students have better recall and hence higher gain in vocabulary when they listen, contextualize, and speak a word. And therefore, all the activities on the app are speech and diction focused, with ML in the back end to create a highly personalized and adaptive engine for the user.

- We are looking for a Sales Associate responsible for supporting sales efforts and aggressively initiating leads. Enthusiastic freshers are encouraged to apply

Roles & responsibilities : 

- Responsible for supporting the Sales team which would ideally include prospecting of new clients, negotiation and closing

- Initiating phone conversations with stakeholders and assist in the development of a strong pipeline of new customers through direct contact and prospecting

- Intensely following up with the prospects and closing the sales within the sales cycle

- Achieving sales targets in a high-pressure performance-driven competitive environment

- Monitoring and analysis of pipeline to review self-performance & optimize accordingly to ensure objectives are met

Desired Candidate Profile : 

- Exceptional communicator and influencer who can deliver sales pitch like a charm

- Ability to convince

- Tons of energy, initiative, and passion for startup life

- Self-motivated for achieving sales target

- Result-driven with preferably 1 year of experience of working at an extremely target centric job; preferably in the EdTech industry

- Self-learners with the high grasping ability so that you can learn about the product within 2 days

- Flexible to work in rotational shifts & 24X7 environment

Remuneration : Monthly INR 15000 + 10% of every sale made (after 18% GST)

Location : Remote

Date of joining : Immediately
