The Membership Development Manager of Sales will lead, mentor, manage, and grow the entire Sales team. An experienced Sales professional to lead our sales efforts, with more than 10 years of experience in selling IT, IT Consulting, ITES, Primary responsibility to generate leads, make strong solution sales pitch, negotiate and close deals in North America. The individual will be supported by a technical presales and lead gen team.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

TEAM MANAGEMENT and TRAINING

1. Responsible for managing, mentoring and training the Sales team.

2. Responsible for hiring and firing.

3. Reviews and approves all major deliverables (i.e. strategic brief, function spec, tech spec, etc.), statements of work, agreements and quotes to ensure quality standards and client expectations are met.

4. Audits team activities and CW updates on a regular basis.

5. Responsible for Performance Appraisals.

6. Responsible for creating and managing (payouts, collating data and incentive reports) incentive structures for the Sales team.

7. Scheduling and planning Friday training sessions and others as required.

REPORTING, PROJECTIONS and TARGET STRUCTURE

1. Primary responsibilities to generate leads, make strong solution sales pitch, negotiate and close deals. Will be supported by a technical pre-sales and lead gen teams.

2. Leading the reporting to the ED and Leadership team.

3. Providing weekly dashboard reports and providing analysis and projections based on data.

4. Targets will be based on: - myCampus Conversions - New Business Revenue (through green field accounts, cross sells and up-sell.)

5. Provide monthly, quarterly and annual target projections and forecasts based on target structure above.

6. Provide important client feedback or information that would need to be discussed/addressed or acted on.

7. Conduct daily team reporting meetings and daily support meetings

EVENTS AND MARKETING

1. Responsible for identifying and conceptualizing events/trainings that CAMPUSEAI should participate or initiate based on CAMPUSEAI's overall strategy and client requirements and feedback. 2. Responsible for planning and executing CAMPUSEAI events from a Sales perspective such as:

a) CAMPUSEAI @ Educause b) CAMPUSEAI Annual Conference c) CAMPUSEAI Regional Conferences

3. Ensuring that there is tight coordination with the CAMPUSEAI marketing team for press releases, important announcements and CAMPUSEAI Community engagement.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

1. It is preferred to have worked in the US geography.

2. It is preferred to have experience with education software / education product sales selling to Higher Education Institutes or Corporates.

3. It is preferred to have a valid Work VISA to be based in US.

4. Preferred experience of selling technology

5. Must have experience in working with Virtual Teams.

6. Preferred experience of selling technology

7. Excellent Communication skill and Telephone Etiquette.

8. Communications: Verbal and Written.

9. Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word and Excel)

10. Public speaking.

11. Training and conveying complex concepts.
