Job Description:

Bizongo's Sales and Marketing team is the engine that drives the global reach of our packaging solutions. The team focuses on prospecting, acquiring and retaining clients, growing wallet share, and nurturing relationships with existing clients across various target industries in the region by offering a complete suite of cloud-based solutions for packaging - Design, Development & Procurement.

This role is for you if you:

- Have a strong understanding of the new account acquisition, account management & handling complex multi-business unit-level sales through account mining, cross-selling, and up-selling techniques

- Are a quick learner with strong listening and negotiating skills and can showcase our offerings in a compelling way

- Have strong data-driven thinking and analytical skills, and can analyze data to develop action plans accordingly

- Can develop business strategies post analyzing the internal and external impact

- Have excellent communication skills in all forms and have a natural ability to network and build a strong rapport with probable prospects

- Have an in-depth knowledge of business offerings & value propositions and can solve complex problems accordingly

- Can motivate and engage a team such that they can go above and beyond their potential to create an impact on the business objectives

As a Regional Lead - Sales a typical month will include:

New Client Acquisition:

- Research and understand the market through various mediums and create & execute a strategic sales plan to acquire new clients to increase the gross margin quarter on quarter

- Identifying appropriate prospects, setting appointments, making effective qualifying sales calls, and managing sales cycle to close new business in all service categories offered

- Devise a strategy to acquire relevant leads, work on quick onboarding of strategic clients and maintain the CRM for pipeline aggressively

- Meet potential clients and pitch the product, solicit feedback and alter negotiating strategies based on the feedback with the objective of achieving a high client onboarding rate.

- Preparing professional, complete, concise, and accurate reports, proposals, and other documentation as required for client presentations

- Performing market research and regular competitor monitoring

- Make sure the required due diligence is done before onboarding any new client and ensure all new contracts are signed off by the legal team

- Growing wallet share and increasing invoice revenue

- Maintaining working relationships with existing clients to ensure exceptional service thereby driving increase in customer satisfaction (NPS) scores and identification of potential new sales opportunities to drive gross margin increase

- Increasing Booked Revenue (Wallet Share increase) by devising strategies to acquire additional business through cross-selling and upselling Bizongo's services to new and existing clients, and continuously striving to enhance our value proposition of price, service, quality, visibility

- Assisting the credit control team drive collections for fulfilled orders and thereby drive an increase in invoiced revenue

Project Management:

- Coordinating with internal resources for the flawless execution of projects

- Have an absolute understanding of Bizongo offerings to manage Client expectations as well enhance client happiness

- Interfacing with the client with ready information and updates on the status of the deliverables

- Aligning with cross-functional spocs to manage the set of deliverables on time and with zero tolerance on quality

- Ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within the scope and within budget Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility

- Ensuring resource availability and allocation with a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress

- Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate methodologies. Managing project risk, conducting after-action reviews, and documenting lessons learned from each project

- Turning ambiguity into a tight plan, thriving at producing outstanding outcomes under pressure, and excelling at holding people accountable to deliver against tight timelines

Customer Delight:

- Focus on accounts management to resolve all issues successfully with clients in the domain of product issues, pricing, logistics, delivery, payment reconciliation, and recovery; to ensure a long-term relationship with business partners.

- Build and scale account management practices that focus on going above and beyond customer expectations, thereby making Bizongo the exclusive packaging solutions partner for all our customers.

- Develop and maintain multiple open communication channels that facilitate transparency, impeccable SLA adherence, and overall goodwill with all stakeholders within client organizations.

- Qualifying, developing, and maintaining thorough product knowledge and driving important metrics like OTIF, Inventory Management, ensuring quality adherence for all Procure Live clients, thereby championing customer centricity

Product Adoption :

- Understand the functionalities of our cloud-based scalable technology platform and products for the packaging industry

- Assess the right opportunities to showcase value addition through product adoption.

Internal Stakeholder Engagement :

- Acting as custodian of product features relevant to be used by Partners, Clients, and sales team

- Work jointly with respective teams and support Product/Engineering to manage a pipeline of Tech change projects

- Supporting customer support teams with the escalation of recurring service/ OTIF issues

Team Management :

- Create a conducive environment for the team to function through a culture of open communication, motivating and engaging with the team members

- Define clear objectives of the team and monitor the team's performance through relevant dashboards

- Assess the strength and improvement areas of the team members in order to recommend relevant training and provide necessary coaching

- Listen to team members- feedback and resolve any issues or conflicts

- Recognize high performance and reward accomplishments

- Encourage, creativity, risk-taking, and culture of learning within the team

Job Requirements:

- The candidate should have prior experience of 3-4 years in hunting B2B clients and onboarding them. A clear demonstration of hunting abilities is needed

- The role requires candidates with an affinity for action and needs to adapt to a fast-moving environment

- Experience in fast-moving B2B sales or B2B startups preferred

- Past experience in packaging industry preferable

- Proficiency in local language preferable

- The candidate has to own sales targets for the assigned region and develop a client base for Bizongo in these regions

- The mindset of solution sales
