We are looking for a Business Development Manager for our organization.

Job Description :

- Business Development Manager - BI and Data Analytics Solutions

- BDM is responsible for and driving sales in North America/European markets. This position requires a combination of sales expertise and technical expertise as the manager must be able to communicate to customers while also identifying their needs and closing sales.

Primary Responsibilities/Key Result Areas (KRAs) :

- To understand the market of IT solutions : The market for IT solutions is diverse and constantly evolving. Some of the key factors driving this market include the increasing reliance on technology in business, the need for organizations to streamline their operations and reduce costs, and the growing demand for data security and privacy.

- Develop and execute the sales strategies : Understanding the specific industries and organizations that are likely to benefit from IT solutions. Conduct market research to identify their pain points, challenges, and goals. Use this information to develop buyer personas and create a list of target customers.


- Define your value proposition: Develop a clear and compelling value proposition that explains why your IT solutions are better than the competition. This should be based on your understanding of your customers' needs and should highlight the key benefits of your solutions.

- Achieve sales targets & build pipelines & sales plans : Setting sales targets based on market research, historical sales data, and your company's growth goals. This should take into account factors such as market size, competition, and customer demand. Develop a sales plan: Create a sales plan that outlines the specific strategies and tactics you will use to achieve your sales targets. This should include a timeline, a budget, and a clear set of objectives and metrics.

- New client acquisition Identify and prioritize target prospects based on their size, industry, and potential fit for your solutions. This can help you to focus your efforts on the prospects that are most likely to convert into customers.

- Building strong relationships with customers is a critical factor in the success of IT solution selling. Take the time to understand your customers' needs and priorities. This requires active listening and asking thoughtful questions to understand their pain points and goals. Offer value to your customers by providing insights, advice, and resources that are relevant to their needs. This demonstrates your expertise and establishes trust.

- Managing sales team : Set clear and measurable goals for your sales team that align with your company's overall objectives. This provides a clear direction and helps to motivate your team. Provide training and coaching to your sales team to help them improve their skills and performance.

- This can include role-playing exercises, sales training programs, and mentoring.

- Recognize and reward success among your sales team to help motivate and retain top performers. This can include bonuses, promotions, and other incentives. Provide regular feedback to your sales team on their performance and provide constructive feedback to help them improve.

Requirements :

- Bachelor's degree in Technology (B.Tech) is mandatory with diploma / post graduation in Business Management in Sales and Marketing

- 8-10 years of IT solutions sales in North America/European markets.

- Interpersonal & leadership skills - should be an effective communicator who can convey ideas, information, and solutions clearly and persuasively. An effective leader who can motivate and guide team members and deliver exceptional service to clients.

- Should be well-prepared for negotiations, including researching the client's needs, interests, and potential objections.

- Preparing a response to Request for Proposals - should read and understand the RFP thoroughly, including the scope of work, requirements, and evaluation criteria.

- Should review and edit the proposal to ensure that it meets the requirements of the RFP, is free of errors, and is compelling and persuasive.
