Associate - Business Development & Strategy

1. Report to Managing Director & CEO & collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Client Engagement, Research & Data Teams.

2. Understand the workings of India's construction industry & the challenges of building material manufacturers, consultants, contractors, distributors, etc

3. Understand Biltrax Construction Data's business model, the value proposition & the specific Clientele to be targeted

4. Proactively source new leads and new opportunities, with the support of sales, business development, marketing & management team

5. Researching organisations and individuals online (especially on social media) to identify new leads and potential new markets

6. Contacting potential Clients which are typically leadership/CXOs of India's leading Manufacturers, Consultants, Contractors, Distributors, etc via email or phone to establish rapport, explain the value proposition and set up product discussion meetings

7. Be well versed with the entire product suite to conduct a face to face/virtual demonstration session to CXOs/Senior Management professionals within Client Teams

8. Post demonstration create & submit proposals in compliance with customised to Client requirements & follow up on the negotiation discussions.

9. Navigate through complex sales cycles with some of the most prestigious companies in India

10. Manage and forecast a sales pipeline independently through a CRM platform keeping management in loop on critical prospects

11. Attending conferences, exhibitions, meetings and industry networks representing the organization.

12. Assist with the management of client accounts by attending meetings, sending correspondence and/or communicating with clients and resolving their concerns with Client Engagement Teams

13. Assist in building a client base of qualified contacts. Maintain performance standards and increase the pipeline for future business.

14. Develop new relationships in an effort to grow business and aid expansion effort

15. Influence potential customers by using consultative skills that are necessary to successfully represent products and services.

16. Participate in shaping the strategic initiatives undertaken by the management

17. Attain all Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) calls/demos, follow-ups, monthly sales, average contract values, close-win ratio as defined by the management team.

Desired Traits :

a. Two (2) to Four (4) years of diverse Sales/Business Development/Marketing experience in Consulting, Research, Knowledge space in B2B domains

b. Understanding/Background in Architecture/Construction Industry is a plus

c. Founder's Mentality

d. Strong Written & Verbal Communication Skills, Growth & Innovation Mindset, Ability to understand the larger picture & align with the long term vision of the Organisation

e. Exceptionally Strong Quantitative & Analytical Skills.

i. Ability to shadow the CEO/MD in meetings, discussions, strategy

j. Bachelor's Degree in Management, Engineering, Architecture/Civil Engineering, etc from Tier I/II Colleges/US/UK Universities with Strong Academic Credentials

k. Working from company office in Seawoods/Belapur, Navi Mumbai

About the Job :

Job Timing - 9 am to 6 pm (Monday to Saturday, Last Saturday Off)

Compensation - No bar for the right candidate
